Growing Together

Through our collective efforts with National Societies at the forefront, we reached over 886 million people with our health promotion and 122 million people with community WASH programmes in addition to 65 National Societies providing ambulance services.

We need to enhance our volunteer capability as it serves as the most vital element of our strength and the backbone of the Movement. We will heavily invest in it as our centre of gravity to further benefit from our comparative advantage as a grassroots organization with millions of volunteers.

We need to diversify and expand our resource base to provide National Societies with sustainable resources, models, and pathways in conformity with the Financing Future Transformation laid out in our 2030 Strategy.

To stay effective and significant as a Movement, we must strengthen ourselves in these areas. Therefore, positioning our Movement as a powerful Glocal Actor can only be possible with strong and capable National Societies as local actors.

We need to bridge the gap and help IFRC members utilize user-friendly, adaptable, accessible and usable digital platforms to actively feed our organizational synergy with a horizontal and vertical bottom-to-up approach.
